ABOUT ALIGN CPA SERVICES

Align CPA Services offers financial guidance to small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. We’re primarily focused on helping businesses with auditing, accounting and tax assistance. Our experienced CPAs also offer consultations with business owners to set goals and discuss their plans for the future.

Founded in 2021, our team consists of six individuals with decades of combined public accounting experience. Founder Darin Ramlow was a CPA for 25 years before launching the firm. Ramlow and his team built Align CPA Services in the interest of cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders. At our firm, you’ll get to collaborate with a CPA who values relationships over profit.

We believe it’s important to be a good listener, too. Our CPAs listen closely to their clients’ needs in order to provide the right financial assistance. We tailor our advice based on a company’s unique strengths and areas for improvement. Tell our CPAs what you’re struggling with, and they’ll work to come up with a solution. With us, you’ll always feel heard.

Our Mission
The name says it all. At Align CPA Services, we strive to align businesses with their financial goals and ambitions. We help them create a vision for the future, and we map out the steps necessary to achieve it. We believe businesses have the power to change their course and work toward a new reality.

We’re more than accountants—we’re strategists. We generate ideas and strategies that guide businesses in the right direction. Our CPAs offer tools and concrete action plans to spur company growth. Financial health is an ongoing journey, and our team will be there every step of the way.

MEET THE TEAM

Darin Ramlow
Born to a history teacher and a bookkeeper, Darin inherited a love of history and an inclination for financial organization. He also inherited a strong work ethic. During much of his college years, Darin worked full-time at a bank to support himself and his wife.

In college, he changed his major from economics to accounting when he discovered the university was a top source of graduates to the public accounting world. In 1995, he graduated with his accounting degree from Northern Illinois University and started his career in public accounting with McGladrey & Pullen, at the time, the 6th largest accounting firm in the U.S.

Seeking to raise their children in a better environment, he and his wife later moved their family to the Springfield, Missouri area, where he spent several years working for local accounting firms until the opportunity to co-found a new CPA firm came in 2002. Darin spent the next 19 years as a partner crafting his skills as a CPA and building a practice serving clients’ audit, tax and accounting needs in Missouri and surrounding areas.

In 2021, he started Align CPA Services and continued to serve his clientele as their trusted CPA and adviser. He and his staff perform assurance, accounting, and tax services for a variety of clients. Darin has a special place in his heart for closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations, believing that they represent the backbone of the American economy and that our communities, and in turn, our families, are made stronger when they are healthy and thriving.

Outside work hours, Darin and his wife enjoy life in the country, and when she is not teaching English to junior high schoolers, they tour the country in their travel trailer with Finley, their faithful voyaging canine companion.

Susan Ince
Susan is a manager for Align CPA Services, LLC, with 40 years of public accounting experience in multiple areas in the profession, including 17 years of auditing. She has been a Certified Public Accountant for 22 years and has obtained additional certifications in the not-for-profit industry, advanced defined benefit plan auditing and data analytics. She is a self-proclaimed accounting and auditing nerd and loves turning numbers into knowledge for her accounting clients. Susan is passionate about helping her clients understand the complexities of accounting standards through audit services and in turn, loves learning about the uniqueness of their businesses.

Susan was born on a Marine base in California and, growing up in a military family, had the pleasure of living in multiple states until finally settling in Southwest Missouri. She loves the Ozark outdoors and watching the wildlife outside the window of her country home. Kayaking, hiking, and playing with her two Australian Shepherds, Callie and Jack, are among her favorite local pastimes. She loves to road trip and travels all across this great country with her Scamp camper trailer.

Stephanie Hutson
Stephanie joined Align CPA Services, LLC in June 2022 as a staff accountant. Before Align, she worked as a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor at a local community bank. At Align, Stephanie assists in accounting, audit, and tax preparation.

Her career goals at Align are to build strong relationships with clients and help them improve their processes in any way possible.

Stephanie has volunteered on her city park board for several years. The community has always been an important part of her life. As well as the outdoors, Stephanie enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling, and enjoying local parks with her family.

Jymi Neidig
Jymi began working for Align CPA Services, LLC, in October 2021. She serves clients in our accounting department, having previously retired from working in the legal industry for 15 years.

A native of SW Missouri for most of her life, Jymi is originally from Neosho and is an alumna of Missouri Southern State University. After moving to the Springfield area, she met her husband of 25 years. They have three children and are adapting to being empty nesters… living most of their lives at sporting events for the past 20+ years, cheering on their sons.

Jymi enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Ashley Wubbena
Ashley began working as a staff accountant for Align CPA Services, LLC in November of 2021. She has worked in several different industries over the past 25 years, the most recent being in the nonprofit sector. She enjoys problem-solving and loves the opportunity she gets with Align to work with multiple clients daily.

Ashley grew up in a small farming community in Nebraska where there wasn’t much to do except hang out with friends and family and cheer on the Huskers. Her parents encouraged her to attend Evangel University where she met her husband of now 25 years. They have three children who keep them busy outside of work. They are usually sitting at a tennis match, swimming meet, volleyball game, or soccer game. If they get free time that does not involve a sporting event, they enjoy the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, and kayaking.

Ashley and her husband also enjoy serving at their church as co-youth leaders. They are passionate about helping kids through their teenage years, and helping them prepare for adulthood.
